Q: Will it work with a 9V or 5V supply? I have 9V output from Tda*****.1 amplifier board from Banggood?

sopo21 Italso works on 5V in microusb, 9V should work too on the 12V input.

Q: Can I use 12-0-*****A stepdown transformer and connect it directly to board or do I have to convert to dual power supply?

Spencer recommend double AC12V power is above 25W (2A) transformer.
