Nice product, works well. loses a star due to poor packaging, a lot of bent pins. I hot glue gunned the PCB to a 3xAA battery holder

average quality, battery is soldered in so can't be easily replaced. Brightness is OK. very quick delivery

buckle247 cant edit the review, but a 400ohm resistor instead of the 22kohm on R2 has solved the time keeping issue. I would now give this a 5* if I could edit the review.

looks good, but running twice as fast as real time. packaging was average, some of the pins on chips were bent. A fun build. Nice and bright

Q: David who replied to my question. I fitted a 400ohm resistor instead of the 22kohm as that's all I had. it seems to have solved it, time keeping is now good and the LED's between the hours and minutes now flash as well, they was solid before. Also I have now got it running on a 12v power supply and so far seems ok. Had it on a 9v battery before but it only lasted about 2 days.

Q: how do you slow it down? it's running at double speed, a minute on the clock is every 30 seconds.

works great, arrived in good condition. quite straightforward to build even with no instructions. power supply sits in a bit of an awkward place, but could easily be extended and sit away from the PCB
