Q: Hello I need ONVIF or RTSP? ANY SUPPORT?

Asked by kgpshops on 2020-11-01 07:31:44

trbg Website for v380 cameras says, if I read it right, no ONVIF support, but RTSP is supported. Probably worth trying it, as cheap outdoors camera. If you use it outdoors I'd suggest caulking a permanent USB cable, through the wall, from the back of the camera (you'll probably need to cut and rejoin the cable), so everything's waterproof. (FYI, I found the site with a duckduckgo search.)

Q: What version of Bluetooth does the device have?

Asked by Karl Krimmel on 2020-06-18 11:21:49

trbg If you look at the (MTK6261M) processor spec\data sheet that suggests Bluetooth 3.0, if there is any Bluetooth at all. If you have any problems using this phone it seems to have similar controls to a 'Doro'.

Q: does this mini soyes support microsd cards of more than 8gb?

Asked by BG181325211 on 2020-11-18 09:41:04

trbg The description of the phones says '8gb'. If you want to experiment you could try and use a larger card, but I suspect the phone's software will stop this working. I don't think this test will wreck the phone, but if it does these phones are not very expensive. Top limit if it does work is likely 32gb, though I guess you could try 64gb and 128gb.

Q: can this be attach as well to any vesc or base on vesc?

Asked by Koling on 2020-11-09 15:52:09

trbg This attaches to either a RPi or an Arduino with no trouble and there's plenty of software for it. Pretty sure you can get one of those to talk to a Vesc, so you might need to use say a RPi ZW(H) as a bridge. I'm unsure if there's Vesc software for this, though (I think there likely is). It's cheap enough I'd recommend buying it and experimenting.

trbg The problem is the human leg changes shape as you move, and more muscles probably mean you need the 'Large' size.

Q: Any idea how to setup as IP Cam?

Asked by BG445124319 on 2020-09-01 04:54:57

trbg I'm pretty sure that the standard software in the camera doesn't support it being an IP Cam, so the answer would be "Change the software". You'd also need a 5V PoE splitter, a USB-to-Ethernet converter, and a Powered USB hub, if you don't want to cut-into any wires. But, if you want to put this outside with the USB cable running inside you'll almost certainly want to cut it, so you don't need the hub, and you wire the data and power lines from the converter and the splitter directly to the corresponding wires in the USB cable to the camera.
