BG223217432 The variable resistor is to adjust how fast the blue LEDs on the base "breathe." I have not found a schematic; however, everything is self-evident with the exception that you need to solder M3X10 screws to act as a guide for the springs. It's too bad they didn't program some Christmas music instead of Fur Elise.

Q: is it easy to "disassemble" to change the 18650? should I use a dremel?

ravidas Dependson your skills. You need to remove 5 screws to open it up. Then you'll find that the battery is soldered in. You'll have to unsolder it to replace it. It's a 1300 mAh 18650 3.7 V cell.

BG223217432 There is a polyfuse UF250 (that square yellow device that looks like a capacitor) that will open circuit at 2.5 Amps.
