Buying a package of 2, 3 or 4 "C" size batteries is always annoying since one battery lasts for over a year and virtually nothing else uses "C" batteries except my clock. Now I can use a single "AA" battery, which which I buy in bulk for all sorts of electrical/electronic devices that I use everyday.

I had a lot of AA rechargeables laying around. This battery adapter fits those snugly and enables to run my radio on AA rechargeable batteries. Both fits are OK, batteries fit in adapter and adapter fits in radio. So - recommend!
