This is my favorite of all the Geekcreit clock kits, mainly because the low light mode is very dim. The other auto-dimming clock kits they make are a bit too bright and light up too much of a dark room, making it hard to sleep. This was a partially-assembled kit with all the components pre-soldered, so I only had to assemble the pieces. My only complaint is one that another review brought up in the first version of this kit: the screws on top are flat head screws for countersunk holes, but the holes are not countersunk, so the screws don't fit properly. I cracked the plastic when I tightened one of the screws down. Another review on the first version of this kit mentioned that the seconds digit transition is weird. I agree and also turned it off. Finally, I wish the numerals 8 and 9 were a bit brighter so that they can be seen through the other numerals easier. I'd buy another one if this unit went missing.

Assembled kit very easy however top number guide was cracked and very fragile (had to glue with CA) Colour is good but very difficult to set time. Graphic Audio display neat maybe just use it for that.

Der Artikel kam beschädigt an. Die obere Plexischeibe hatte bei Auspacken bereits deutlich sichbare Risse. Bei der schwarzen Schreibe sieht man sie nicht gleich. Der Piezo-pieper war defekt, Kappe und Distanzscheibe des Piezo-piepers lagen lose im Gerät. Die schwarze obere Abdeckung hat auch Risse und es brach auch ein Stück ab, konnte ich zwar wieder ankleben, wäre aber bei ordentlicher Verpackung garnicht erst passiert - den Transportschaden hat Banggood durch schlechte Verpackung verursacht. Was aber auch den Hersteller zurückfällt ist die Tatsache, daß immer noch die falschen Schrauben für das obere Plexiglas verschickt wurden und das führt unweigerlich zu Beschädigungen. Die Sensortasten reagieren nicht bei Betrieb am Handyladegerät - es braucht ein spezielles Netzteil mit gesiebter Gleichspannung. Hier fehlt ein interner Kondensator am USB-Anschluß - ein klarer Kontruktionsfehler. Eine Möglichkeit Ersatzteile zu bestellen fehlt auch. Wenn die Lithiumzelle leer ist muss das komplette Gerät zerlegt werden - das ist konstruktiver Murks. Wenn man die Uhr aufhängen will kann man die Sensortasten nicht verlängern. Auch ein Firmwareupdate über USB scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Dafür gäbe es ind er Summe nur maximal einen Punkt - nun ist das Gerät aber auch eine wikrliche Schönheit im Design - dann 2 Punkte.
