It's worth the price, works really well to make consistent repeatable cut, I install it in my makita track saw. Things I dislike is the knurled knob, I've changed it to better one since it's too small and uncomfortable to tighten or loosen. The scale also not that good because it's etched on the groove so there's a possibility of parallax mistake when read it. I add sticky 13mm scale for better reading and better contrast too. Things I like, it's straight forward. Easy to use, easy to install, and easy to calibrate. More importantly it's accurate and square. For the price I'll give it 5 stars

This tool is as good as Dennis of Hooked On Wood describes. He did make a mistake with how he joined the two main lengths - he screwed the two special screws "up-side-down" into the joiner. Doing it the right way makes the joint properly secure. Dennis showed the assembly to be a bit unstable when the two guide extensions are attached to the Fonson square and track. I fixed this (see attached photos) with a 70mm x 47mm x1.6mm piece of aluminium secured by two M5 screws placed 10mm from each end and 10mm from one edge. These went into two rectangular nuts (12mm x 18mm x 4.5mm) slid into the slot under the extension.
