Ordered 3 of these. Two of them were fine, but one arrived in pieces. My initial thought was that it was damaged in shipping, but after further examination it may have been some burrs on the plastic base that prevented the metal top from clipping on properly, resulting in it coming apart. No amount of just shoving it back together seemed to cause both sides to stay clipped. Finally got it wedged on (after trimming burrs with razor) and wrapped it in silicone self-fusing tape. I think it will have a long life like that...
