This is a really handy little module. I have used these in my Automatic Vertical Blind opener/closer project. They are used for charging the Li-ion 18650 cells (2 in parallel) and then boosting to 5 volts to power the Arduino, RTC, motor & driver. I now have six of these that have been working fine for about 4 years. The two Li-ion 18650 cells power the Auto opener/closer for over 4 months before needing a re-charge! It's a shame that the modules do not have a built in over-discharge protection, however I added one to the Li-ion cells so not much of a problem for me. Also used in other small projects, great value for money.
