Cri Nichia is much bester light and Mode pleasing to the eyes. The colors of the surrounding Pop out much better. I have both, and the cri Version is not really Dimmer. So, thumbs up.

Ordered the high CRI version. The flashlight is as described, nice flood beam and diffuser works perfectly. Thanks to the high CRI LED it can render perfectly the warm colours. Tailcap magnet is very handy by the way. When using it at full power and battery is nearly exhausted it will progressively fade to a low luminosity mode which is good as light will not shutdown abruptly. Consumption is about 105mA in low, 415mA in middle and 1780mA in high mode (using a 1.35V power supply) so runtime should be close as advertised using an high quality and capacity battery.

Wow a nice little lamp Nitecore made there. I bought it for my toolbox and already used it twice. It's great to have a magnetic back cover, so you can stick it somewhere ;) The "360 lipstick" is also very practical!
