i bought it for my raspberry pi 2. it provides durable protection. the little fan works well and can decrease temperature like 4-5 Celsius. The most important point is not to connect fan to 5v of the pi. It causes to disturbing operating noise. Rather go for 3.5v.

I have the raspberry pi 2 model b 1gb, and it almost fit perfectly, the 4th layer, right at the mini usb , needed to be removed as was too wide just behind the connection, but otherwise fits. BTW there are no instructions on where the fan is supposed to plug in.
