The output voltage adjustment pot doesn't use the full range of the multi turn trimmer pot. Only a small area of the trimmer changes the voltage and it's rather difficult to set the voltage accurately. Shorting the two pins of the trimmer closest to the output (shown in the picture of the back of the module) allows the voltage adjustment to use the full range of the trimmer.

I have ordered step down modules form banggood, and never had a problem frankly they worked better than other online retailers actually, alot mroe accurate. Decided to get Step Ups now....Unlike some of the other reviews here, I actually got all mine to work correctly, and none were dead, the POT on all of them were set really low, like to 0 low or below(if thats possible)...figured they would have left it after testing to like 1-3v something low and not circuit damaging. All of mine were about +/- 3% accuracy In Amp, and Volts...which is pretty standard from the 1-5% ranges from everywhere else out there in internet land. Personally, i would rate it closer to 95% efficiency for mine than 93%. Size Comparisons Below Picture wise, most dont show real size comparisons nowadays.

At first I thought these devices were not working, then I realized the pots were at full range. Once I had turned them down into my working area, the DC boost kicked in.

Nice little step up module. 2-24v boost with a max output current of 2A. Always start with low voltage 2-5v and increase the pot. output voltage to +3-5v from where you want to have your steady input voltage at or it will burn up. Other than this little cork this is a great step up module for the price! Good for low current projects.

Another great product from Banggood - I really don’t know how they do it at this price, about AUD5 for 10 modules. I intend to use these to replace expensive 9v batteries with two AA or AAA cells. Thanks Banggood - looking forward to the next grey package!!
