internal gears are metal, good. i stripped the original plastic ones after brushless conversion on my 144001. hope these will hold up better.

Diffs are 4 way but were very tight so best advice is to strip them and re-assemble them with better grease , Now they are silky smooth Excellent

after buying a sweet RC car off banggood and letting my 5yo son bash it off things in the yard, it stopped working as well as it did when we started. I started tinkering around and realized the rear diff was broken. I was afraid I'd have to send it back (which would cost more than it's worth) or scrap it.. then I found out they sold replacement parts. ordered it and it arrived quickly. quality was better that was in the car originally and it was easy to install. car runs like new again!! great value, rescued a fun toy from an early grave!
