At first the packaging made me think they won't work. The strip was really bent, but after testing it with an arduino i can say that all the leds work in all the colours.

Worked perfectly - the RGBW vs RGB did catch me out - have to use an arduino library that supports the 4 bits - at the time of writing, Fast_LED doesn't support it.
