pritchard.phil noit will take from 6v to 60v input. but you will only be able to charge a couple of volts below input voltage there is no bust function just buck. ie if you need to charge 24v system you will need a 30v power supply..

kistaska In my experience you can go up as high as Input Voltage - 1V. So with a stable 60V power supply you will be able to regulate your voltage between 0 - 59V. The efficiency of the Riden buck converter is better than 90%. So if you have for example 180W 60V PS on the input, it can supply 3A max. You should be able to get 180W * 90% = 162W (worst case) out of the RD6006. With that power you get max output 6.2A between 0 - 26.12V. Above this voltage range the amperage will gradually decrease. At 59V you get 2.74A. If you try to draw more amps the primary PS will probably decrease its voltage or hiccup or switch off or go to protection mode or even burn out. So if you want to use the full capabilities of the RD6006 (62V 6.2A) I'd recommend a 65V 420W (or higher W) Primary PS. If electrical noise is important, use a linear PS with a transformer and lots of capacitors, instead of a switching PS.
