Bag is awesome and protects the drone very good. It is a bit bulky, but don't mid as I prefer to protect than to look pretty.

Drone is awesome and the best budget drone out there. Easy to set up and easy to fly. Had some problems delivering to South Africa. Had to get someone to collect in Hong Kong in the end. DO NOT TRY TO SHIP TO South Africa, you will only have problems with customs. The camera quality is pretty good. I would recommend this drone to anyone looking for a budget drone.

Works well. Just have to reset every morning as it disconnects a lot. Other than that it is a very good product

tommiewakeford How did you get Banggood to ship to you. As they telling me they cant ship to South Aafrica.Hope this message reaches you.I realy want this drone, already ordered and paid, but now they saying sorry we cant ship to South Africa.How can I get hold of you.

I Ordered my Xiaomi drone just before Christmas after doing alot of research about the different available drones currently on the market. As a previous owner of the Walkera QR-X350 I was particularily excited about the design and overall look of the Drone. I was however very sceptical of the Xiaomi brand having never owned one of their products until recent when I took ownership of my Xiaomi MI Max Cellphone which holds its own is right up there next to Samsung LG and Sony. So in terms of quality I was not too worried and the drone was ordered. The drone arrived well packaged and in good time too bearing in mind the issues with the South African Postal services currently. Pulling it out of its neatly packaged numbered containers it was easily assembled and boy did it look good. Everything about the drone is of the highest quality. I must add that the only negative about the whole experience would be that Xiaomi only included chinese instructions within the box, I do think they could really cater for the rest of the world with their drones. Nevertheless I have pre-printed the english instructions so this wasnt a big issue. Easily attached the blades, easily installed the camera and simply clicked the battery in place and the drone was ready to fly. I again had pre-installed the software on my Xiaomi max phone so it was as simple as to plug it in and everthing worked, after a few secs and the latest software was already installed on the drone and it was ready to fly. The whole experience was brilliant. Xiaomi really does put the extra effort into ensuring their devices are completely upto date all of the time. Although when writing this I am still in beginner mode so I cannot experience the drones full potential it is still such a pleasure to fly, easy as can be and just the quality of it is so overwhelming I am over impressed. It is such a well packaged drone and superbly priced. Locally the DJi drones sell for more than 3 times the price that I paid through banggood, I can afford to lose my quad twice before it comes close the Phantom 4. Well done Xiaomi this drone is brilliant, I love it and I absolutely recommend it.

Battery lasts only 30 seconds, then goes flat and does not want to lift of ground. Banggood does not want to ship batteries, so if you can not get batteries locally, do not buy this. Got a nice looking toy sitting doing nothing.

tommiewakeford You lucky you get 5 minutes.I charge battery till full and if I get 2 minutes then I am lucky.

very weak battery . (enough for 5 minutes not more ) drone is stop responding unexpectedly. you have to switch off and switch on again

Is there anyone who can help with the updating of the firmware. cant do anything. Do not know what firmware to choose from the drop down list. Please help. I can not do anything.
