The variable power supply seems to work well (after a few days). I use it to drive a small de-humidifier that needs 9V and its previous power supply was rated at 2A. The power supply is now running permanently and it gets just over hand-warm. I have measured the Voltage and it is close to what the display shows. I am also planning to use this power supply to drive a hot-wire foam cutter. To connect the power supply, I have bought a female connector, which is also visible on the pictures. With the additional connector and because of the variable voltage and because it is rated at 5A, this is a very versatile piece of equipment. Recommended.
