The whole package looked like a book all part are package well.After unpacking it, we built it together with the help of app, 3D manual after 3 hours try, we built the human robot successfully! Lol. It's very rewarding when the the human robot moved and danced through the app movement programming.I'm really impressed with this product .we will try to creat different model with my son's imagination. Building instructions and app is very good, but might be challenging for kids as there is enormous possibilities of configuration and playing. After connecting to phone there is automatic firmware upgrade for controller and motors. works great. 16 servos have strong torque. programming is easy. executes on phone.

When first arrived, i was shocked with beautiful package Box was solid like a big book and can act like a drawer too It's great so all the part just fit it to every little box inside Plastic material also very good, clean edges, feel good too The color i really like combination of the color (blue sky and white egg) Really design for kids, no sharp edges, lego like All electronic is hidden inside plastic But maybe the cable is a little fragile too kids and small too My kids try a bit just to snap it the right way Turn it on, servo and electronic was very good, fast response and not hard to bind Just open the Jimo apps, connect, automatically find JIMU robot Overall i'm very satisfied with jimu robot kit This is the best robot kit for kids that i ever known But needed more works on the app side Still very basic, the user interface is not very helpfull Specially the 3d manual guide is confusing for kids, maybe i prefer with 2d images When your kids try to assembly this, parent must guide them because of hard understanding for 3d navigation Comparing other robot apps, this is still the best for kids Because other just worst than this.
