It's a nifty flashlight, but by all means do not pay for shipping. Please note that this is not a negative review of the product, which again is very handy. Not only is the LED brighter than any incandescent light on ANY brand of comparable flashlight, the zoom function on this unit is UNBELIEVABLE. At 100 feet, the zoom function illuminates an approximate 8' x 8' square, with very little bleed-over of light. On top of that, the strobe function is very nearly debilitating, and would provide an excellent distraction if one were accosted at night. Combine the fact that the lens has a crenelated edge with the weight of the flashlight and you have a decent self defense weapon. A terrific value!
