Pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of this telescope. I purchased it for my young son and so far it has been used a lot. I suspect that it will last many years. The image is much brighter than you would expect from a telescope in this price range.

Took three weeks to arrive in Aussie Land, which isn't too bad considering our postal system. This unit has extremely solid brass construction, very well built, and negligible movement in sliding parts. It also has TASCO stamped on it - this company is known for good quality optical products and has been in business for a very long time and has always been regarded as top of the range. (I don't work for them, but owned a Tasco 100mm refracting telescope as a kid.) The instructions are very well laid out and in correct English. After spending a few short minutes reading the instructions I took it outside and the unit worked perfectly. Very simple to use. Excellent value for the money. Will gladly recommend it.
