This LED Christmas tree was real fun to make. It uses colour-changing LEDs which I had never come across before. The tree comes as two little boards that slide and connect together at right angles. When soldering the LEDs in be very careful not to solder too close to the base of the LED or they melt! Suggest about 4 or 5 mm lead length and then bend the LEDs at right angles so that they radiate out parallel to the boards. This product has only lost a star because when slotting the boards together the components clout each other, specifically transistors and capacitors. Recommend practicing assembly before soldering.
