Very nice and sturdy. It's hard to recline since I'm not used to it, but It's a great chair.

Above average quality of materials and construction. There are no instructions so you are on your own when it comes to getting the seat back to recline. Have a seat, lean back, hold the metal at the front of armrest and lean back hard! The seat back will recline almost to horizontal. This may become problematic after the chair has had a lot of use since there are no mechanical stops. For a light, portable chaise lounge, this was a super deal for a double sawbuck, delivered!
