I received the shield with bent XLR sockets and pins and the soldered points were in bad quality. So I aligned them and plugged the shield on the Arduino Uno. I used the Conceptinetics DMX Library for Arduino and read the wiki several times. I disabled the shield with the jumper and uploaded the DMX Master Sketch sucessful and finnally enabled the shield with the jumper. The result is, that the shield doesn't work. I uploaded the the sketch several times und changed the RX and TX pins, without sucess . I think there must be an interruption by the bad soldered points. Additionally, I ordered a CTC-DRA-10-1 but I received a CTC-DRA-10-R2 shield. In conclusion, I would say that it was a failed purchase considering the high price.
