Quite powerful light, well made and nice color LED (not too cold, not too warm). On high mode becomes warm, but it is still comfortable to hold. Lowest mode is really very low. And with removed mode memory works perfectly. When you wake up at night, it always starts from lowest, so nobody is being woke up from the light. To remove mode memory, you have to disassemble the flashlight, unscrew the driver module, remove PCB from aluminum holder, and add 100K resistor in parallel with the capacitor on top (smaller) PCB. This gives you about 6 seconds of memory, after which modes are reset. So no unexpected blinking now. :)

But if you read some reviews about flashlight, this is a new upgraded version! Non marker, PWM on medium, UI slightly changed and not warm light, but like 5000K (neutral light). For less than 7€ it's a good deal. Output less than 1 lm (low), less than l0 lm (med), 100 lm (high) Runtime on high around 30 minutes, depends on battery. Не ожидала, но серый цвет оказался очень красивым, чуть темнее, чем на фото и, в отличии от других цветов, он не блестящий, а матовый. Сам фонарик удобный, максимальный режим очень яркий. Минусы - нет памяти и первый режим мунлайт очень-очень слабенький. Поэтому, при включении придётся проворачивать фонарик каждый раз 2 раза, так как первый режим малопригоден.

It took 18 days to get to my mailbox in Canada. It came with two spare O-rings and a cheap light weight split ring for the lanyard hole. To change the light mode you twist the head on and off to switch between very low, medium, high, and flashing then the next twist is back to off. On mine the flashing mode works on every other switch sequence. The light output modes go: Very Low>Medium>High>Flashing>Off, then Very Low>Medium>High>Off, then Very Low>Medium>High>Flashing>Off. I put a piece of Gorilla tape between the head and the body of the flashlight to keep it from turning on accidentally as it seems to twist easily and might get bumped on if in a pocket. It looks like it will make a good key chain flashlight.

It is my 5th Astrolux A01. I like the quality. I dont use the aaa.batteries but 10440 3.6V batteries. The flashlight in macimal moment can have even 60°C. But then there is end of energy in 10440 battety. But for 15 minutes I have about 500 lumens flashlight which is the size of finger. Really, don't fear to try 10440 - you will be shocked!
