The stepper is standard NEMA 17 with 1.8 deg step with a total revolution of the stepper shaft at 200 steps. For the quality you get, this is a steal of a deal. I highly recommend if you are building budget CNC machine, 3D printer, and engraving machine.

I have 3 of these Linear Guide sets now for an X/Y pen plotter that may evolve into some sort of CNC tool. I had two problems with the guides, but they were easily fixed. One of the white 3D-printed blocks that holds the idler wheel cracked badly. I machined a replacement out of aluminum and all works good. The other was that all the V-roller wheels ran rough and stuck in some locations. I thought they were bad bearings, but then discovered that the nut and the small brass washer on either side of the bearing/wheel were rubbing on the rotating part when all was tightened down. I added a small cone-shaped lock washer on both sides of the bearing, and now only the stationary inner portion of the bearing is gripped, and the wheel rolls smoothly. The small roller platform moves much smoother and easier now. The motors have worked with no problems. I use the Hanpose TB6600 drivers. This has been a good learning project.

these are excellent rails , however they need some fine tuning to get them silky smooth. straight out the box they either super tight or completely sloppy. making a 4axis cnc wire cutter with them
