Works good! Better than I’d hope for. Seems to be able to measure on quite long distances too. I’d recommend you to buy one! I got the model without the circle measurement pattern.

The product was received well packaged. I cannot qualify the accuracy of the readings beyond comparison with my digital thermometer using the thermocouples of both devices in hot water, but the differences in the readings were 0.1 degrees Celsius, good enough for my use. Pressing the mode button toggles between C and F readings. You can easily set an 'alarm' limit which lights a red LED above the main screen if the temperature moves beyond the limit you have set, this can be set for maximum and minimum temperatures. The instruction manual is easily read and quite comprehensive and one function allows you to set the 'emitty' value, useful for different metals
