Fits 4 pencils per elastic-banded section and fits 48 pencils per 'page' (4 pages to place pencils in) and has two pouches for erasers, pencil sharpeners etc. Works perfectly for the intended purpose. Made from good quality material. If you were to only put pencils/pens in one section (2 pages' worth of space), the other section is large enough to put in an ipad etc. This is particularly handy if you like to work on a physical drawing and then take a photo and continue working on the project digitally....or if you just want a handy space to carry your tablet around. Picture of tablet isn't good quality, but you can see it would easily fit inside the pencil case (even while in its own bulky keyboard case).
