The tool is mostly for desoldering, as the pump works rather well. Do not try to change the tip for soldering, because the desoldering tip will not fit perfectly again. Warning: the power cord is not soldered to the heating element leads, the bare wires are simply twisted together! It is a very nasty engineering trick, a kind of built-in amortisation, one day the twisted wires will burn through or be oxidized, the unit stops working and you will think that the heating element is gone and will buy a new one. Better if you disassemble the unit and properly solder the leads together and you will have the real full life available of the tool.

Much better than the classic vacuum desoldering Pump. Don't hesitate to buy one, it 's a very good quality/price ratio.

I do a lot of electronic repairs that require frequent de-soldering and removal of components which is always a chore. My usual soldering iron and de-soldering pump do a reasonable job but many times it's not easy. Then I bought this... It is amazing and makes the job SO easy with total solder removal almost 100% of the time. It is possible to put the leg of the component into the middle of the heated tip press the button to activate the pump and all the solder is gone. The component just falls out. So simple and easy. I love it. Using it as a normal iron to solder is not great the end is too big and I prefer my usual iron. However that is a very small negative point as the de-soldering function is worth every penny paid for this great tool. Highly recommended.

excelente produto! funciona perfeitamente, facilita a retirada do componente pois remove completamente a solda deixando componente e furação completamente limpos. A tampa para limpeza abre de forma fácil, possui uma boa ergonomia para trabalho, possui uma agulha para desentupir e uma ponta para ser usado apenas como soldador.

This desoldering tool works like wonders. I was thinking of getting those expensive gun style desoldering tool. But decided to give this one a try. It turned out to be much much better than i thought. Its so easy to use. Removes all the solder and the component just falls off. When use first time it may give out some smoke with bad smell. Dont freak just ignore it Wont happen again. Just dont use the soldering function as many have said earlier. Thanks banggood for saving me so much money :)
