This is nice supply. It is really useful for DIY T12 soldering station ( https://goo.gl/P4pkWP ) because it fits perfectly in case for it: https://goo.gl/h118fq
Good product, works fine, I have removed resistor R19 2,32kE and repaced it with potentiometer 1kE and resistor 2kE in series so the output voltage is adjustable between 19,5V and 27,5V becouse I need 21V output.
The design of the power supply is good. It matches the specifications and there are no major corners cut. However there are some quality control problems. 1. R18 almost touches - and shorts to - the heat sink of the output diode - see photos 1 and 2 2. The flux residue on the back side of the board is not cleaned well - see photo 3 4. Some of the pins are very poorly trimmed - see photo 3 I did not even turn on the power supply before re-soldering R18 a bit to the side. Aside of the above it is a good value for the price.
PS is working out of the box, output voltage is 24.4V in idle. Input cap is rated 82mF, the real value is 72mF, I changed it with 120mF. Output caps are rated 2x1000mF, real value is 1900mF, left them as it is. PWM cap is just 22mF, changed wit 47mF. Y cap is good, no need to change it. After mods output voltage is 24.45V in idle. For load test I used big ceramic resistor, set to 5.2Ω. During the test output voltage was 24.52V at load. After 15 minutes transformer was heated to 64.6C, output diode to 44C, IC to 51.5C. So, after the mods PS is working good at 4.7A output current, that is 115W of power.
Hello, I bought and was not disappointed + with a discount :). There is no voltage adjustment, but within the normal range of 23.8 volts. I couldn't accurately measure the current, but it approximately holds the specified load, I was able to load it with a current of 5.65 A. overload protection works! I recommend purchasing at a discount :)
This is nice supply, especially for the price. It is really useful for DIY t12 soldering station (https://goo.gl/P4pkWP) because it fits perfectly in case for it: https://goo.gl/h118fq
Professionally packaged, non-defective delivery!
Отличный блок питания для самоделок. Почти не греется на нагрузке до 4 А. Стабильно выдает 24В.
Hands Up 🙌 Very good sources and very compact. I have been buying about 8 of this model and have never failed me 🍒 🔫 They are highly recommended for confined spaces, that if, you have to leave ventilation holes, I do not use fan so there is a silent equipment 👍
