BG382212183 Ihad a very similar experience with this antenna. Strong magnet, did not budge even at 70 mph. SWR in the mid 2 meter band was 1.2 and on the mid 70 cm band was 1.1. For those who may have a tri-band radio, I tried it on the 1.25 cm band (which this antenna is not designed for) and got an SWR of 4.5, so a no-go there. Reception was very good, even with repeaters 35 miles away, although I do live in an area of very flat terrain. The only negative was the coax, which is pretty stiff for its' size - but I would still give this antenna 5 stars.
