V912 I have gone through a few motors, I tend to push my v912 hard. I have learnt if you fly and use1 battery after another without allowing the motor To cool they will over heat and the motors don't last long. Allow 10 mins between flights and you won't have a problem. These motors will need the existing wires soldering to the new motor.

Good motor however does burn out after 30 or so flights if pushed to the max, get the MJX f45 motor from Banggood, same size but faster!

The new replacement motor was received well packed and in good time. No problem. The original motor failed after about 30 flights. Depending on the shaft orientation, the motor would either not start or run without sufficient power to lift the helicopter of the ground. Replacing the motor is not difficult if the disassembly is done methodically noting where the parts and screws belong. The helicopter flew well with the new motor. So well, in fact, that I lost sight of the machine and never saw it again! (I have since purchased a second V912 from Banggood.) The second V912 has the video function whereas the first one did not. It seems that the second V912 has the metal housing of the main motor made from heavier gauge metal. Maybe this acts as an improved heat sink and results in a longer motor life. Time will tell…

Sooner rather than later you're going to need this! Buy two to avoid being "grounded" while you wait for spares. It's cheap and you are going to need it.

I have one on standby in my spares box so when the original motor goes wrong I can be back up and flying in minutes. The seem to be easy to fit just unsolder the wires off the faulty motor and solder them onto the new one. Slip into place and fly again. The terminals are well marked so there is no danger of getting the wires the wrong way round. A very cheap spare and a must have for the V912 flyer. Well done Bang Good

Looks great quality, tested a little bit and everything works. The plug fit also, I can't wait to install it and fly my RC helicopter with its new main motor.

This motor which is for the V912 does not fit the WLToys V915 the pinion gear is too high up the shaft suitable for the 912 but not the 915 its machine pressed on so trying to move it will damage the motor.

its a good motor if u let motor cold between flight . if not buy mjx f45 motor its better but a bit higher price
