Works fine for running my 5 Hp three phase motor for compressor from 220V, but instruction manual lacking ******************************************************************************************** Good: + Worked fine out of the box + Keypad works fine and is clearly labeled + Pot on front panel + Clear display + Many programming parameters, some useful (i.e. PWM frequency) + Very compact + Fans run only when needed + Can't beat the price... Bad: - Badly translated instruction manual, many functions not explained or too cryptic - Power terminals too small - Just opening in case for wires, no provision for conduit attachment - Housing is cheap, not flush with heat sink in back Summary: Cheap, very compact VFD that works fine for converting single phase to three phase power and get speed control on top of that. The functions are fine but setting it up correctly requires some previous knowledge of VFDs as the Chinglish manual is not much help. With a better manual this could be a great value for the hobby machinist!
