We love this. We use a ratio of 25 grams of fresh ground coffee (espresso) to 250 mL. It takes about 20-25 minutes to warm up & boil. There is no automatic shut-off once it does boil. It took a while to be able to use it, as we are in the USA & it came with only the UK plug. I contacted customer service promptly & after them reviewing the pictures, etc. They finally sent out the USA adapter plug. The coffee maker came in about a week. The plug took over 2 weeks to arrive. So I had to wait about a month to use it. That being said, the customer service folks were nice to deal with. It was just frustrating. I kept looking to see if I made a mistake & there was a language barrier. I'm not sure to this day. But we now have delicious Greek-style coffee regularly.
