I have used a SURECOM swr meter to evaluate this antenna on frequency ranges specified. I needed to clip approximately 12 to 15 mm and ended up with some really great ratios. UHF was showing average of 1:1.10 and VHF average 1:2.1 When compared with the standard antennas on my portable radios this is fantastic.
