Love this 3.0 version! _Ive had the 2.0 for a few years and have loved it but looked forward to a few more lumens. comparing the two, the lumen difference isnt massive but definitely noticeable. _The hot spot on this 3.0 is more pronounced than the 2.0. The 2.0 hot spot is more gradual. I prefer the hot spot on this 3.0 version. _Glad that the form factor hasnt changed. The extra lumens are much appreciated. _This guy is very bright but does get hot pretty quick. it is to be expected when such a small package puts out this many lumens. _It slowly steps down after a few minutes to allow cooling. Still plenty bright even after gradual step down. _Really a great deal at this price point. _May order more as backup.
