The maximum luminous intensity gives only with a battery of 14500. An excellent solution for every day. I highly recommend buying. The only BUT is VERY slow delivery to Russia. Almost 70 days. Usually from China such packages go about one month. Unfortunately my gift for a friend was late for 20 days. And still, many thanks to the seller!

Great flashlight. Already in my pocket. Not so happy for finding out that I cannot use 14500 with flat head. But, NiMh batteries will be sufficient. Dimmer cap is nice, magnet is strong. Recommendation!
