The Happymodel Crown LDS is different. It's manufactured using high-precision 3D laser direct structuring (LDS) metallization—a process borrowed from smartphone antenna manufacturing. Laser beams trace the exact radiating element onto a 3D substrate with micr0n-level accuracy. Every Crown antenna that leaves the factory performs identically to the last. No outliers. No "bad copy" in the batch.
0.68 Grams. Your Whoop Won't Notice.
Weight is the enemy of tiny whoop performance. At just 0.68 grams (30mm version) and 0.78 grams (50mm version) , the Crown LDS adds less weight than a single plastic propeller screw. Mount it on a Mobula6, Mobula7, or any ultralight toothpick build—the flight characteristics won't change. Your power-to-weight ratio stays intact. Your cornering stays sharp. Your antenna stops being the heaviest component on the board.
VSWR ≤1.5 at 5800MHz. More Signal. Less Heat.
A high VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) means your VTX's power is reflecting back into the board instead of radiating into the air. This wastes battery, generates heat, and can damage your transmitter over time. The Crown LDS achieves VSWR ≤1.5 at the critical 5800MHz center frequency. Translation: nearly all of your VTX's output becomes actual airborne signal. Your 25mW whoop VTX performs closer to its rated power. Your range improves without increasing power draw.
Dual Polarization. Your Choice.
Available in both LHCP (Left-Hand Circular Polarization, grey wire) and RHCP (Right-Hand Circular Polarization, black wire) . Match your fleet's polarization for maximum signal transfer. Mix polarizations between quads for cleaner multi-pilot sessions. Circular polarization naturally rejects multipath interference—critical for indoor whoop flying where signals b0unce off walls, furniture, and metal shelving.
