I use it to replace a gu10 40W spot light in a ceiling fan lamp-holder. I wanted to have light all over the room, not directly focused. I have no instruments to take any measurements, but it seemed to me that it actually gave me the brightness I needed in the room. It supposed to be the equivalent of a 40-50 Watt incandescent bulb and yes, it does the job. Rather good quality, fair price.

I'm using 3 of these in my bathroom. They are very bright and comfortable. However, they appear blinky on 50Hz 230VAC, giving a stroboscopic effect to objects moving fast. That's why I can't say they are perfect !
