my 18v Makita DRT50 fits beautifully into this holder. The holder is plastic and probably won't hold up to abuse. but if you are a hobbyist and careful, it should be fine. Do note that there is no rack and pinion adjustment on this guide. simply set the depth and lightly screw tight. I haven't put it through its paces yet, but so far, so good 👍
