Bought this to have a play with. Worked really well. Used it with FTDI to connect to network and pass information. Haven't uploaded NodeMCU firmware yet, but once I become more familiar with the device, I'll move towards something more practical. Would recommend, and at this price it's a steal. The signal strength is really good too, for something so small. Tried with Arduino, but it takes too much power to power it from the device, so I run it from an external source.
