Fast delivery to Sydney, unit with antenna is well packaged in small box. Without antenna is in anti-static bag only. Worked out of the box. Pre-loaded with a version of CameraWebServer.INO so after carefully connecting camera operation is simple: connect USB power, connect phone to new WiFi network ESP32 -CAM-MB, open browser and go to 192.168.4.1 to view stream.
Product as description. Tested ok working as expected. Recommend.
Received a faulty one first but BG arranged a replacement once I contacted support and raised the complaint 👍 Remember, it comes with a default firmware loaded and you can just plug the board in a 5v USB power source and scan for "HK-ESP32-CAM-MB" wifi and connect, then you just need to load 192.168.4.1 in your browser to connect to the cam. If you want to load a new firmware then you will need to install CH340C driver first and then install the board "HK-ESP32-CAM-MB" in Arduino IDE and upload the sketch. Download instructions for HK-ESP32-CAM-MB are available in github/hkdoc/readthedoc/esp32 websites/forums. Also, refer the documentation available in this product's description. I'm using easytarget/esp32-cam-webserver from github which has more options than the default firmware. Overall, a nice & cheap board with all the required functionality. Thank you
Arrived sooner than expected. It's a very nice device I've configured in a few steps to work using Arduino IDE.
The product works perfectly, I recommend a room with a higher viewing angle, thank you very much for ordering Banggood!
Excellent device, adaptor is helpful and can be used for other Esp32cam boards. Using the supplied antenna I have camera set up about 30metres from Wifi base which is great. Check out Esphome on the net for cool ways to integrate with HomeAssistant.
The product arrived on day 8. As always, it was sent when you asked and it was packed nicely. I haven't gotten to the programming stage yet, but it's made of quality materials.
Delivery to Germany took 10 days, nice. From the image, you can see the FCC ID to get more information about the product and measurements. I tried the esp cam in combination with the usb board and it got recognized under Linux. In general, everything made a very stable impression. Therefore, all good I'd say.
The module is ready to work, the module generates its own Access Point server named ESP 32-CAM-MB. Just select this server on the phone Wi-Fi settings, (no passwords needed), then open chrome or google and introduces the IP address: 192.168.4.1. The image appears on the phone.
Well packaged, received in good condition and excellent delivery time (16 calendar days from order). I use a lot of esp32 variants in my various projects, so much so, that I try to always keep a good selection of the main variants in stock in my hobbyist electronics lab. The ESPCam has a nice compact form factor and is one of my favorites.
