Instead of a round hole in the "leg" there is a hole of a rectangular shape of 2.4×3.7 mm, at the same time the shaft has a diameter of 1.9 mm. The big clearance causes that the "legs" cross and block and the robot stops. Solution: stick on a piece of wood (popsticle) on the "leg", drill a hole of 2 mm. Now the robot walks properly. The remote RF control works in a maximum range of about 5 m. Might be gut if the transmitter and the receiver have a switch.
