this light has different threading than the S2+. I still managed to swap some parts, but not the LED pill into other body, unable to mix&match short body tube parts. amazingly bright 365nm. no UV lens

Hi, I have received the flashlight, the UV filter and the case. I have tried to use it but ... It don't light up. I dont know if it is the switch or the LED ? I have tried many different battery just in case but ... still dont work. The UV filter looks OK but cant tell you if it do the job because .... the flashlight dont work ! The case looks great ... there is a place to old a supp. baettery. very well done. Hope the vendor will gladly send me a working flashlight.... I would really like to

My local UV light and UV light stones expert: www.colorgems.nl says this is the best LED for 365 NM UV-A. I tried the cheaper Leuchtturm AV-A / UV-C light. But the Leuchtturm has a much weaker UV-A light. The UV-C TL tube 4W is nice thought. Althought 4W UV tube is still a bit too weak. It's just enough for looking at the UV colored stones. After trying several cheap chinese UV flashlight i decided to spend a little more. Shipping was great, i even got tracking which i didnt pay for and it came five days earlier than tracking stated. The packaging was ok. The flashlight has a tight hotspot and a lot of much weaker spill around, it can throw quite well and lights up about a 20cm radius from 1,5m distance brightly, in the dark the spill lights up glowing things well too but not nearly as good as the hotspot. This is one awesome small pocket long wave 365nm flashlight! Installed the optional filter to block any visible light LED’s emit. Very bright, and with the filter, spotting long wave sensitive minerals over several meters away in the dark, no problem! Love this light, and will be taking it to every gem and mineral show I go to!
