I bought this buttons to customize my flashlight and after breaking 2 of them (they are sensitive to the high temperature of the soldering iron) I managed to finish my project and the button works as expected.

Kobie Isuspect that it is meant to be mounted inside a metal tube as in a flashlight. The center contact will make direct contact with the battery, and the two tabs on the side will make contact with the tube. I guess the switching is between the center and the two outside tabs witch may be connected together or common? Am I correct on my assumption?
