Within 180 days

If there are any product quality problems which are not caused by artificial factors such as dis-assembly, misuse, drops or falls, water damage, un official firmware or software modifications or any others causes of damage, we will cover the actual postage (according to the receipt you provided) only if it cost less than $40 (USD).
If damage occurred such as the display screen is broken then we can not offer warranty service. If you still would like to repair it, you can send the unit back to us. We will help by forwarding the item (if repairable) to the manufacturer for repair. You pay for all the shipping cost and the repair cost in this situation. If there is any other cost incurred during the process, it will be at your expense as well. We will send you a bill to show you the details of all costs before we send the unit back to you.

Any warranty service for any eBook reader will be rejected after the 180 day period has expired.

Return Policy

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Items

If the product (except DIY kits) arrived broken you need to contact us within 3 days from the day you receive the package. Then follow the 3 Day Product Guarantee.

About Unsatisfactory Products

If you are not happy for any reason with your purchase then you can return it within 3 days of receipt for a full refund minus the shipping charges incurred by us or an exchange.   • This power supply is accuarte. Use a heatsink! Without a HS you will kill the transitor for sure. The diagram is a classic linear ps lay-out. To increase the output current you can try 2 transistors in parallel (don't forget the "pairing" resistor!) or a 2N3055.

  • Good quality PSU. The PCB is double sided fibre glass which makes it very robust. Built and tested fine with no problems. Just got to find a case. The only thing to be aware of: You need quite a hefty heat sink especially when drawing 3 amps. (mine went upto 3.5 amps). Mount the big diodes and big resistors, especially the 5 watt ceramic 0.47 ohm up from the PCB to get some airflow around them as they get really hot under maximum current. I have just built mine and at the moment have it under load test @ 2.5A and the 0.47 resistor is EXTREMELY HOT!! I may have to change it for a 10 watt?   • La fuente funciona bastante bien, sin embargo los operacionales funcionan fuera del limite máximo de la tensión que pueden aguantar. La máxima tension entre los pines 7 (V+) y 4 (V-) no pude superar los 36V DC, sin embargo, U2 y U3 con una tension de entrada de 24V AC (sin carga, puede ser entre 26,4 y 28,8V AC, dependiendo de la calidad del transformador usado), superan los 42V DC, con la fuente en vacio, sin carga, mientras que U1, esta en los limites o ligeramente por encima dependiendo de la calidad del trasformador usado. También tendrían que aumentar la capacidad del condensador de filtro (C1) a por lo menos el doble, 2X3300 microfaradios, para rebajar el rizado de la tensión de salida. Si queremos utilizar la fuente tal cual está, sin hacer modificaciones, el transformador no debe superar los 18V AC, por lo que la tensión de salida no llegara alos 30V DC, se quedar entre 24 y 27V DC. Se pude aumentar la corriente de salida poniendo dos transistores de potencia (Q4) en paralelo, con una resistencia en cada emisor de entre 0,1 y 0,33 Ohmios/3W, asi se podría llegar a los 4A de salida o más, sin mayores problemas poniendo un buen disipador a los dos transistores. El transistor Q4 se puede cambiar por un 2N3055, que aguanta mas potencia y se calienta menos. También se pude mejorar el ajuste fino de tensión e intensidad añadiendo un potenciometro para cada cosa. Sugiero a quien fabrique este kit, haga las modificaciones oportunas para hacer un producto fiable y atractivo, pues el incremento de precio no es mucho. Recomiendo su compra. Read moreHide
