works well if you use it within specified parameters ie not overfilling it. the bladder is evidently not designed for bearing load and will no doubt fail it you fill it way beyond what the sponge inside can hold. would be nice if they add in some of those gel powder inside and give it some consistency. overall a very good purchase and will definitely buy more in the future provided the current one last a decent amount of time
