With both 6g and 3g Gyro modes this is an excellent 6ch channel helicopter for beginner and expert flyers and is amazingly stable for its size. S-FHSS means it was a simple bind to my Futaba T8j. In 6g mode it literally hovers hands-free and then switching to 3g brings it to life with full 3D capabilities. With a brushless main motor the lipo supplied lasts around 6-7 minutes. Got my XK K110 in the mail today and I am impressed. For something so compact, it seems very well designed and definitely does not feel like a "toy". Binded it with my Futaba T6-J very easily and set it up roughly the same as my 450 heli. The instruction manual was very poorly translated and hard to read, but as long as you basically know how to set up a CP heli, it's not too complicated and I did manage to get a few helpful hints. The hardest part was figuring out the settings to get the gyro to switch from 3d to 6g mode - I expected the dual color LED on the heli's circuit board to change colors to indicate which mode it is in, but they don't change and there's really no way to tell which mode it is in without firing up the motor and seeing what happens. In 6g mode, the heli returns to level when you release the aileron/elevator control stick, in 3d mode it does not. The servos and linkages for the collective controls are surprisingly accurate and have very little play. The first flight was fun! It's definitely a little twitchier than my 450 heli, but I expected that and I liked how it performed in everything from hovering to fairly fast forward flight. I did not try any inverted flying today, but I have no doubt it will work great. Good durability too - halfway through my first flight, I crashed it into a leafy branch from a tree in my backyard. It was briefly stuck on the branch, then fell about 8 feet to the ground and landed right side up on the grass. No damage at all! I quickly looked it over, then took off again.
