This is exactly what I needed to replace mainboard but be warned it is very hard to replace the LCD screen from the old board to new. The LED backlight boards are soldered in 3 places and had to snap them off and resolder and hot glue in place. There is no picture of the other side to show the LCD screen is NOT supplied. Supplied is board on right.

To replace this requires pulling a hand full of plugs, cutting away and desoldering of LCD and led lights from the front side and re soldering and gluing on the replacement part.. I would think if I can do this then it wont be a problem for most. Best advice is to make sure you unplug your battery before starting any work on a taranis, which is how all this started! Happy with the purchase!

Nice product. Its come with opentx v2.1.6 pre-loaded. Need basic soldering skill to solder and unsolder the stock lcd backlight to this new board.

Like a previous reviewer, I also fried the mainboard of my Taranis Plus X9D by disconnecting the ribbon cables with the battery still connected. Please learn from our mistakes! Doing so will damage the main microprocessor. As many of us aren't a) capable or) so inclined to replace only the chip, purchasing a new mainboard is the easier option. The mainboard does not come with an LCD/backlight, and be careful when desoldering your existing components so as to not damage them. Free shipping to Canada took 18 business days (26 days total).
