To make them last longer I am putting two identical ones in series, which means that they work with 1/4 of their nominal power; they output a nice mellow glow in such configuration, one can easily look at them without being dazzled, which makes them a beautiful decorative item. They come packed in hard cardboard boxes and a protective foam around, bought several and all came intact.
