I speak from experience. These cover protection have saved 2 of my EMAX red bottoms from total loss so far for sure. They are sturdy and will only break with a big crash. On the negative part, they are a bit heavy but I definitely recommend them. They fit nicely in a ZMR250 frame. You will need to use longer screws because of their thickness to mount the motors. Be careful not to use very long screws that damage the motors' magnetic coil though.

A very good protection against dirt in the motor. No problems with the airflow cooling the motors. Fit perfect with the Tarot TL250H Frame and TL280H arms.

Perfect for the Nazgul V2.... They mount very easily and give a little color to the drone. Received in 6 days via BG Express... Perfect

Those are 3D printing and so... not so robust. I already broke 3 of my 4 protection, but I'm a beginner. I thinks they protect the motor even if they are a bit fragile.

The only problem is that they need holes int he middle, for access to bearings. It's not hard to make holes. Don't drill them, but use hot round object to make holes.
